Working in partnership with South Mimms Travel, uTrack have tailored the RYGO solution to fit the needs of the Royal Veterinary College campus shuttle bus service. The requirement to provide real-time information and historical punctuality/reliability reporting was delivered using a Driver App, the RYGO Portal and the RYGO Passenger App.
The Driver App provides a source of GPS and a mechanism for the Driver to select the duty/route at the start of service. The location data is shared in real-time over the mobile network and processed by the uTrack Platform which combines the live GPS data with the timetable information (Stops and Timing points) to produce a predictive arrival time at stops.
The RYGO portal provides a back-office for South Mimms Travel to track their vehicles in real-time and a complete historical record of every journey completed. This audit trail ensures that a punctual and reliable service is experienced by all those the rely on the campus shuttle bus service.
The RYGO Passenger App displays the real-time information – vehicle location and stop arrival predictions to anyone on an Android (Google Play) or iPhone (App Store).
