We are excited to announce the release of the Walmart Shuttle Tracker for Salt Lake Express. This new solution helps shoppers enjoy a seamless and stress-free journey between the Walmart Supercenter and the surrounding stops in Rexburg.
Salt Lake Express have been a valued customer since 2023 and have been using Origin and CoachTracker to streamline operations and improve the passenger experience. With a circular route encompassing 10 stops in Rexburg, including the bustling hub at Walmart, Salt Lake Express sought to provide a convenient and intuitive passenger-facing tracking solution specifically tailored to the complimentary shuttle service. With this goal in mind, Salt Lake Express and uTrack engaged in discussions that gave rise to the Walmart Shuttle Tracker.
The tracker provides real-time updates on the shuttle’s location along the route, empowering passengers with accurate information to plan their journeys effectively. Clicking on a stop opens a convenient popup displaying the estimated arrival time of the next bus in minutes. Additionally, for passengers who prefer to plan ahead, the popup showcases the scheduled times for that specific stop on the given day. Each bus stop is equipped with a QR code-enabled sign, allowing passengers to effortlessly access the shuttle tracker by scanning with their mobile devices.
