The Vehicle Locator feature helps eliminate the guesswork associated with locating the vehicle during handover, especially in scenarios where bus routes do not commence from the depot. This is a common challenge for bus drivers, as they may not always know the precise location of the vehicle they are assigned to operate. By connecting with Origin, this feature helps bus drivers easily and conveniently pinpoint their vehicle in real-time along its route on a map, allowing for smoother transitions before shifts and handovers. Vehicle Locator eliminates the need for drivers to spend time searching for their buses, reduces delays in starting routes and contributes to a more efficient and reliable public transportation system.
Unity App and Unity Admin – Opt-In to Teams
This update gives users the ability to join teams based on “special interests”. By opting in to teams, users gain access to curated news, documents and other relevant content that is specifically relevant to their preferences and areas of interest. The personalised content delivery ensures that end users can make the most out of the app while promoting a sense of community and belonging among users with shared interests. The Unity Admin gives administrators and content creators the tools to create and manage specialised teams with granular precision.
Unity Admin – Deeper Analytics and User Engagement
In this update, we have introduced two powerful enhancements to Unity Admin. Firstly, dashboard metrics can now be exported in CSV and JSON formats. This flexibility empowers especially Internal Communications teams to showcase key metrics, track progress over time, and communicate insights effectively. The exported files can be seamlessly imported into other analytics tools for deeper analysis and visualisation. Secondly, administrators can now track which articles each user has viewed, ensuring that important information reaches its intended audience. This feature is particularly valuable for sharing important updates, policy changes, and organisational announcements.
