Formed in 2016, Somerset Passenger Solutions (SPS) is a joint venture between First Group (South West) and JJP Holdings, contracted by EDF to provide passenger transport for the Hinkley Point C Project, scheduled until 2025.
SPS currently transport over 4,000 people to and from the site, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Their fleet is made up of over 100 modern buses, however that figure is scheduled to double between 2019 and 2021.
To ensure that the project doesn’t hit any roadblocks caused by issues with employee transportation, SPS came to uTrack and asked for our help in tracking and utilising their data to help make their service as efficient as possible.
