National Express Coach Operator Awards
The great and the good will gather today as the annual celebrations to identify the best of the best take place at the rather swanky Windmill Hotel in Coventry. These occasions are always enjoyable as well as inspiring as each of the categories reveals just who has consistently performed better than their peers.
It has been really good to witness the excellent standards that National Express have achieved over the last five years that we have been working with them. They really have made major improvements across the board and this is reflected in record numbers of passengers using their service. At a time of heavy criticism of parts of the nation’s rail network, Coach have elevated their standards across all elements of the business, and they really do compete well with the rail industry,especially on price and quality.
National Express today operate a 365 service and last year operated record-breaking numbers of routes on Christmas day indicative of their renewed emphasis on good customer care, this also includes the new on board entertainment system that allows passengers to watch films, TV shows etc to while away the journey. To be fair to National Express the standards of operation, presentation and great value for money deals has placed them in my opinion in a different league to their inter urban coach competitors.
