PA / Administrator

Due to rapid expansion we now need to find a PA who can support the CEO by offering efficient and pro-active administrative, organisational, and logistical support in the execution of his duties.

The role will be fast moving, exciting, and will require initiative and excellent organisational and book keeping competencies.

 

Responsibilities :

  • Responsibility for the day to day management and co-ordination of all executive activity, including: Full Diary Management; Daily Schedules: Travel arrangement and itineraries: Meeting Arrangements (Agendas, Minutes, Actions) Team Meetings and Presentations.
  • Successfully complete critical tasks and projects that effectively allow the CEO to manage the team.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, provide research and background information and content, create presentations.
  • Ensure that Executives have completed actions and deadlines within the required timelines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external customers and business partners, communicate directly to employees, and key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of basic book keeping is a key requirement of the role including invoices, payments, salaries, and assisting the CEO in managing budgets.
  • Lead or support event organisations including team meetings, conferences, and engagement activities in several countries.
  • Support as required the CTO in basic administration and organisational roles as required.

 

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Exceptional organisational skills, combined with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines on multiple projects/tasks.
  • Excellent inter personal skills with the adaptability to change style and approach to suit relevant audiences.
  • Must have a positive can do attitude as well as being approachable and flexible.
  • Ability to work both on their own and as a team player.
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Power Point, Outlook, proficient in Excel and confident with using and leveraging new media technology.
  • Good numerical skills.
  • Confidential and diplomatic.
  • Preferably likes dogs called Hugo (I’m tempted to leave this in, adds a bit of fun).
  • 3+ years relevant experience at Director level is preferred and experience in an international environment would be an advantage.

 

Relevant Information

The position will be located in the uTrack office in the iCentrum Birmingham, but  may on occasions require visiting the head office in Dublin.

Project Manager

uTrack are looking for an Irish based IT Project Manager ideally based in Dublin but the remit will involve extensive UK based travel.

Reporting directly to the CEO the role will involve managing the contracts with our UK based client base which involves Companies presently listed in the UK FTSE 100.

 

Responsibilities :

  • To ensure the smooth operation and development of key contracts with high profile Companies operating in the UK passenger transport industry.
  • To be responsible for the delivery of all system activities for the clients including supporting existing infrastructure, systems and processes. As well as managing new systems and projects within the client portfolio.
  • Working with core members of the uTrack team the role will require taking primary responsibility for liaising with senior individuals within our client base, and ensure the efficient scheduling and prioritising of all work within this business technical area.
  • Responsible for best practice project management implementations and delivery of high quality services within agreed timeframes.
  • Responsible for the initiation, development and implementation of new systems and services and projects for our clients.
  • Develop plans for new projects, define training requirements, prepare budgets, implementation schedules, identification of resources, and associated risks for initiatives as assigned by the CEO.
  • Oversee the implementation of of projects including progress assessment, participant coaching, budget tracking, documentation and resolution of challenges when faced.
  • Overall responsibility for ensuring existing systems and data integrity are maintained, correct procedures are followed and an acceptable level of service is delivered to the client.

 

Required Skills and Experience :

  • University degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Agile Certification an advantage.
  • PRINCE2 Certification and advantage.
  • At least 5 years experience.
  • Expert knowledge in Computer User Applications.
  • Ability to analyse problems, prepare reports, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Experienced project management, documentation and presentation skills.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Excellent Customer Service/Customer relation skills.
  • Proven time management skills.

 

Advanced knowledge in Systems Documentation, Budgeting, Computer Hardware, MAC/PC/ Micro Computers/Data Security Systems/ Systems Management and Performance Management.

  • Interface with a variety of international customers over the phone, and vis email in a polite, positive and professional manner.
  • Respond to the needs and questions of customers concerning their compliance requirements.
  • Take responsibility for customer satisfaction.
  • Document actions in tickets to effectively communicate information internally and to customers.
  • Resolve problems independently; understand and follow escalation procedures.
  • Support the Operations Manager as required with other support functions within the business.
  • The support role will include opportunities to develop support materials and user guides, and assist in the day today operations of the uTrack teams in both Ireland, the UK, the USA and Europe as directed by the Operations Manager.

 

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Excellent fluency in written and verbal English.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Deadline and detail oriented.
  • Highly motivated and team oriented.
  • Knowledge of a second language would be advantageous.

Responsibilities :

  • The role involves Designing/ Architecting new applications/application modules (including changes to existing applications) for delivering agreed functional requirements and non functional requirements.
  • The role will ensure that all changes are such that the applications are supportable, maintainable, and scalable.
  • The role will define the best practice across the applications in development, in addition to driving the technical alignment within the Company.
  • The role will guide the development team members working in support.

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in Java, Spring, Web design, SQL and Perl technologies/languages.

QA Engineer

Due to the rapid expansion of uTrack we are looking for a gifted and ambitious QA Engineer to be located in our Dublin office right in the heart of the City Centre itself.

Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate QA effort working closely with product Owners, Analysis and Developers.
  • Able to clearly determine QA objectives and standards by by analyzing user stories and Requirements.
  • Understand and able to drive out acceptance criteria alongside developers analysts and product owners.
  • Work closely with automation QA`s for the purposes of enhancing regression packs and environment monitoring.
  • Develop features and scenarios to validate acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate on technical solutions and communicate goals and results Display continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Demonstrate working experience of agile concepts and development e.g. Scrum, Kanban, cucumber.
  • Has some experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium.
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and have the ability to interact with stakeholders, clients, and team members.
